I am sad to announce that Brother Joe Brugnolotti , Brooklyn AOT alumni class of 1951 has passed away on 5/26/2009.

For those of you from the Long Island chapters that didn't know him, Joe was the driving force behind the formation of the Long Island chapters. Joe was relentless in his desire to pass AOT on to the next generation and he pushed hard for the recruitment of charter members in Valley Stream.

Every chapter on Long Island owes a great debt of gratitude to Joe Brugnolotti. Whether you knew him or not I can tell you that Joe loved AOT and was proud to find out that the seed he plated in Valley Stream in 1955 spread all over Nassau County. Joe was thrilled to find out about us and he had a great time meeting those of you that attended the AOT reunion in 2007.

I only met Joe once at the reunion, but we spoke many times on the phone. Joe always sent me e-cards on holidays and I will miss that very much.

RIP Brother Joe Brugnolotti, you will be missed.
