It saddens me to announce that one of our founding members, Brother Edward J Carroll has passed away.

Although Ed Carroll passed away last January we were just informed of his passing by his son Robert Carroll this week.

Every member of every chapter from each and every class of AOT owes a debt of gratitude to Ed Carroll for his invaluable contributions to Alpha Omega Theta Fraternity both as a founder and as one of Brooklyn AOT's earliest presidents.

Ed Carroll's son Robert did tell me that his father really enjoyed last years reunion - 60 year anniversary celebration and he was thrilled to meet all of us from the Long Island chapters.

I can say it was an honor to meet him and I am glad that he came to the Reunion and got a chance to see what grew from the seed he helped plant in 1946.
